Here we all are after the race. All the runners got all the ice cream they wanted at the end, so Dave grabbed some extra and the kids got to enjoy the treats, too. That was their favorite part.
No, Dave didn't win the race, but everyone got these medals for finishing. (If you ask me, you're a winner for finishing!!)
After the race, we went to a park in St. George, and let all the cousins play. My brother Jeff and his family came down from Lehi, so it was fun to spend the day with them. (Thanks for coming guys!!) And my cousin Joy and her girls met up with us, too. It was great to see them. 
Dave told the kids to do their silly faces, and this is what they did. They always love to do those silly pictures.
We drove to Las Vegas on Saturday night and spent the night at my brother's house. We watched conference with them, then headed back home. It was great to see them, and I'm sad I forgot to bring the camera in and take pictures. Oh well, next time.
We are so proud of our Dad for accomplishing this amazing goal!! (After he ran in, he asked me if all the excitement and being there made me want to run a marathon. I told him not really, I'll stick to the 1/2 marathons. I just think it's too far to run. :) Good Job Dave!!!!

I think you are good for running a half marathon. Actually I feel proud of myself when I race Jack in the backyard (kind of sad huh!) Love you purple shirt!
Go Dave!!!! What an accomplishment! ...and way to shave 20 minutes off the time! That's great! Sounds like a fun and full trip! ... and congrats for surviving the 12 hour trip with the kids! whew!
Wow that is awesome! Good job Dave! Looks like a fun trip! My brother- in - law did the St George 4 yrs ago then came to our wedding and passed out in the middle of us being sealed-won't ever forget that!!
