Ashley's School Music Program

Tonight was the 3rd grade music program at the school, and Ashley was so excited about it. She's been singing the songs around the house for the past 2 weeks, and it was fun to hear them sung by all the kids in person. They did a great job. The school has a new music teacher, so it was refreshing to hear a new program, and I thought the songs she picked were fun. Ashley had been asking all last night and today if Grandpa and Grandma were going to be able to go. We let them know about it, and of course they were there to cheer her on. She was happy to have them there. Thanks for coming Grandma and Grandpa!!!!
It was fun to watch her up there singing. Luckily she remembered all the words, and even got into it during the last song by rocking out a little. Way to go Ashley!!

A couple of weeks ago they picked who would have speaking parts. Ashley was disappointed she didn't get chosen. Well, last week they found out one of the girls in her class that did have a speaking part, wouldn't be able to make it. So, Ashley was able to get a part after all. She was so excited about it, I had to get it on video. Click below to hear her big line......

(Didn't it sound like something you would hear at a primary program?) Well, I thought that song they sang with it was pretty cute. It was a good program with cute songs. I was also excited that it was only 1/2 hour long. (It made it easier on us moms with little ones!!!!) Great Job Ashley!! It was fun to watch you up there. You are such a cutie, and we love you!!
