Shopping after Thanksgiving
So I was just on my friend Jenifer's blog, and she had this little quiz of what we were most excited for Thanksgiving. (Family Togetherness, good food, or the good shopping the day after) Well, this was a no-brainer for me, as I am OBSESSED with the great shopping deals the day after Thanksgiving. I get so excited to get the paper on Thanksgiving day, and I sit down with the whole spread in front of me. I get my pen and paper and start circling away. I write down all the great deals, in the order of importance, and plan out my morning. Now I know some of you are probably thinking I'm crazy to brave the lines and the crowds, but that's part of the fun. I started doing this about 4 years ago, and love it. I've gone with my sister-in law, and I've gone by myself, and it's much more fun to go with someone. (Let me know who's up for it, and we can score the deals together.) One of the main reasons I love it is the AMAZING deals you can get. I am a BIG bargain shopper, and love to get a great deal. (Last year I got Jessica a laminater from Staples for FREE!!) Another reason I love it is because I get so much shopping done, I feel like I accomplish a lot that day!! (and usually I get most of my Christmas shopping done.....) I'm a little worried this year because I'm planning to go to the ASU game on Thanksgiving night, so I'll probably be up late, and it might be tough to get up with the early birds. But I'll do it because the Day-After-Thanksgiving shopping experience only comes once a year!!!!!

The day after Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite shopping day too. Wanna come up to Salt Lake? :)
I love this day too! I haven't gone since we moved here, but I am definitely going this year!
Count me in!!! Last year I went by myself and it just isn't the same as going with friends.
Ok I'll say it...you all are nuts!! ;) I hate shopping the day after Thankgiving and avoid it at all costs. But it sounds like I might really be missing out on some great deals. I just can't get past the early morning and crowds thing. I have heard some really bad stories of how rude people can be on that day. Best of luck to you all.
Hum... I'm not so good at it. I'll have to go with you one year. Although I get such a kick out of my sisters strategizing on Thursday night.... :)

I did it last year and VOWED I would never do it again but guess what...my sister talked me into it! We're totally stoked to go and she has already sent me several black friday shopping ads! I don't know where she is getting them but she is emailing them to me. My list has already begun! Happy Shopping!!!
