Well, they FINALLY started on the remodel today. We've had to pick out the new tile, shower, and a new tub, and then wait 2 weeks for that to come in. They were supposed to start last week, but the foreman got real sick. So, they came today and did the demolition. They pulled out the old tub, and then removed the wall. (We decided to push the wall out into Dave's closet to make room for everything.) There was a problem, though. As you can see from the above picture, when they cut away the wall, they found that all the A/C unit was up above, and now we need to have the A/C people out to see if they can push the unit back. Hopefully it all works out, I'm sure it will.
Here is where our tub and shower used to be......
And here you can see the wall between the closet and the bathroom that they took out. (Isn't it nice of Dave to sacrifice space in his closet so we can get a bigger tub :)Well, hopefully this all gets done in the next 2-4 weeks. I really don't want to have to deal with it during December!! Ugh! We'll see, and I'll keep you posted.......

Aren't remodels fun? Just when you think you can get started, you need to have the a/c people out! Well, good luck. It is nice of Dave to sacrifice his closet. Is that to pay him back for his posting that the bathroom was done? ;)
Wow! I can't wait to see what it looks like when its done.
Yeah for a bigger tub! Good luck with the remodel. I hope you don't run into any problems and everything is finished on schedule.
Good luck! I'm sure you will be happy when the whole project is over.
the other day I was just thinking about your bathroom (and mine)...I am so ready for a remodel or two!can't wait to see your finished product.
How fun a new bathroom! I just like anything new. Hope the remodel goes well. Right before we moved we were finishing off the basement and I still have dry wall dust on some of my cans of food storage--guess its a good way to tell how old it is :)
very nice of him ore maybe nice of you since now you will have to share! I want a new tub sooooo bad!!! Keep us posted.
